The Blooming Prairie baseball team opened its season with a 16-3 loss to Kenyon/Wanamingo (1-0 overall) in BP Tuesday.

Junior pitcher Luc Zellmer took the loss for BP (0-1 overall) as he lasted just three innings on the mound.
