It wasn’t its best effort, but the Blooming Prairie softball team beat Janesville/Waldorf/Pemberton (0-5 overall) 6-3 in BP Thursday.

The Awesome Blossoms (5-0 overall) committed four errors and they led just 4-3 after five innings, but they hung on.

“I don’t think the girls were quite ready to play today,” BP head coach Ali Mach said. “It wasn’t our most solid softball and we didn’t finish the way we wanted to.”
