An Austin man could be deported for the second time after police discovered his several alleged aliases and 29 grams of methamphetamine in his home.

Pablo Juarez-Perez, 35, pleaded not guilty Thursday in Mower County Court to first-degree drug sale and possession charges, as well as two charges of aggravated forgery.

According to a court complaint, Juarez-Perez was at a residence on East Oakland Avenue when a search warrant was executed Feb. 28.

He provided police with a state of Minnesota identification card and a Cargill work identification card in the name of Pedro Pena. He apparently told officers that Pena is his “work name at Cargill.”

Police then searched Juarez-Perez’s home in the 400 block of Fifth Place Northwest, where they found a Social Security card in the Pena name, a Social Security card in his true name, a bag containing 29 grams of meth and several other forms of identification.

After reviewing his criminal history, police found that Juarez-Perez holds several other aliases, has been arrested in several states and was previously deported from the United States at least once, according to court documents.

His bail has been set at $500,000, and he is scheduled for a jury trial May 2.
