MINNEAPOLIS — A three-alarm fire damaged a medical clinic in Minneapolis early Wednesday.
Fire at the Bloomington Lake Clinic broke out just before 3 a.m. Firefighters were briefly evacuated from the clinic while fighting the flames because of concerns the roof would collapse.
Assistant Fire Chief Cherie (sher-EE’) Penn says a family was evacuated from a nearby home as thick smoke blanketed the neighborhood.
WCCO-TV says two adults and a child were being assisted by the Red Cross.
