The Lyle/Pacelli boys basketball team beat No. 9 seeded Alden/Conger (4-19 overall) 69-38 in a Section 1A West Division play-in game in Lyle Tuesday.

Skylar Meyer opened the game with a dunk for No. 8 seeded L/P (9-15 overall) and he finished with 26 points. Ryan Rust added 18 points and Carter Guthmiller had a season-high 10 points.

“Ryan did a great job inside against their big guy and he got him foul trouble,” L/P head coach Casey Anderson said.

The Athletics will play at top-seeded Goodhue (20-7 overall) Thursday at 7 p.m.
