Josephine Ardella Larweck, 90, of Austin, died Monday, March 14, 2011, at Our House Memory Care.

Josephine was born March 28, 1920, in Escanava, Mich., to Fred and Mable (Chelson) Birk. She grew up in Blue Earth, Minn. June 2, 1938, she married Franklin Larweck. Jo and Frank celebrated 73 wonderful years of marriage together. Josephine was a member of Holy Cross Lutheran Church. She enjoyed music, reading, camping, fishing, shopping and spending time with her family, especially the time she spent with her great grandson, Zackery.

Survivors include her husband, Franklin Larweck, Austin; daughter, Judy (Ronald) Miller, Austin; four grandchildren, Rhonda (Mark) Radloff of Austin, Michele (Bob) Langan of Austin, David Larweck of Great Falls, Mont., Nancy Dahl of Great Falls; eight great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents; son, Franklin Larweck Jr., four brothers; four sisters.

Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. on Friday, March 18, at Holy Cross Lutheran Church with Reverand Brian Kruger officiating. Friends may call from 4-6 p.m. on Thursday at Mayer Funeral Home. Interment will be in Oakwood Cemetery. The honorary casket bearer will be Zackery Langan. The casket bearers will be Ronald Miller, Mark Radloff, Bob Langan, Harlan Griese.
