Frank Dennison

Frank Wayne Dennison, Jr., 47, of Mapleview, died due to health complications early Tuesday morning at his home.

He was born Dec. 1, 1963, to Frank and the late Dianne (Hanson) Dennison. He attended school in Rushford and Austin. Frank worked for several employers over the years, including Hayfield Windows, Halcon in Stewartville, Bridon in Albert Lea and Merriam’s Midway. He married Dawn (Sullivan) Wiseman on July 25, 1998. He enjoyed music, fishing, camping, hunting, motorcycling, archery, treasure hunting at thrift stores and rummage sales and spending time with his friends and family. He enjoyed collecting many things, including miniatures, eagles, motorcycles, knives, dragons, wizards, swords, temporary tattoos and monkeys. He was a member of St. Olaf Lutheran Church.

Survivors include his wife, Dawn Dennison of Austin; two sons, Dustin (Crystal) Dennison of Austin; Christopher Dennison of Austin; parents, Frank and Mary Dennison of Austin; grandparents, Betty and Odell Scrabeck of Austin; stepchildren, Karen Arnold (Jeremy Zlinske) of Dodge Center, David (Dena) Wiseman of Dodge Center, Patty (Jake) Youngmark of Austin, Richard (Michelle) Wiseman of Dodge Center; two sisters, Melissa (Douglas) Root of Austin, Katy Ashton (Scott Brechtel) of Austin; three brothers, Todd Dennison of New Ulm, Steven (Kristie) Dennison of Minnesota City, Chad Dennison (Amanda) Zemke of Rochestrer; sisters-in-law, LeAnn (Donovan) Mitchell of Austin, Beverly (Troy) Arnold of Hayfield; many grandchildren; nieces; nephews and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Dianne Hanson; grandparents, Dan Mensink, Frank and LaVera Dennison; mother and father-in-law, Robert and Dorothy Sullivan; Aunt, Donna Wencl; uncles, Herb Battin and Russell Mensink. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Friday, March 4, 2011, at Worlein Funeral Home Chapel with Todd Portinga, Associate in Ministry officiating.
