Blue Devils beat two Canadian teams

The Blue Devils baseball team picked up two wins against Canadian All-Star teams in Cocoa Beach, Fla. Monday.
Riverland (3-2 overall) beat the Oakville Royals 12-5 and topped the Ontario Terriers 3-0.
Jamie Adams, a freshman from El Paso Texas, picked up his first career college win for RCC when he threw a one-hit shutout against the Terriers.
“He went after them and he pounded the strike zone,” RCC head coach Scott Koenigs said. “Our defense played solid behind him.”
The game against the Royals was tied going into the top of the seventh, where the Blue Devils rattled off seven runs to put it away.
