BLOOMINGTON, Minn.— Police in a Twin Cities suburb are looking for the person or people who shot and wounded three men in a restaurant parking lot early Monday.
Bloomington police say the shooting happened after a bus carrying 20 to 25 people pulled into the parking lot of the International House of Pancakes restaurant near the Mall of America about 3 a.m.
Police Cmdr. Mark Stehlik says the group had rented the bus and was returning from visiting an establishment in Minneapolis. Some in the group were in the restaurant and others were standing outside when a car pulled up and multiple gunshots were fired.
Stehlik says one man was shot multiple times in his lower body and another man was shot in the leg. Those two were taken to Hennepin County Medical Center. A third man suffered a superficial wound and was not transported.
