The Austin dance team had a solid day at the Class ‘AA’ high kick state meet in Target Center in Minneapolis Saturday.

The Packers, who competing in their ninth straight state meet, made it to the finals and took home fifth place.

They also landed two seniors, Marni Surdy and Katie Johnson, on the Class ‘AA’ High Kick All-Tournament Team.

Sartell-St. Stephen won its first ever state title to win the Class ‘AA’ crown.
