The Hayfield girls basketball team lost 54-36 at No. 9 ranked Rochester Lourdes (22-2 overall, 10-1 HVL Gold) Tuesday.

Hayfield (11-11, 3-9 HVL Gold) missed a few easy looks early on and it trailed 25-12 at the half.

“They took it to us and we had a very tough time matching up with them,” Hayfield head coach Fred Kindschy said. “They moved the ball real well.”

Hayfield shot 27 percent in the loss.
