Fogarty lifts Awesome Blossoms to comeback win

The Blooming Prairie boys basketball team snapped a six game losing streak when it came back to beat Janesville/Waldorf/Pemberton (9-11 overall) 57-56 on the road Friday.
The Awesome Blossoms (5-16 overall, 3-10 Gopher) trailed by 10 with under two minutes to go but they came back strong. Michael Thomas hit a lay-up to put BP up one and Tom Fogarty pulled down an offensive rebound and hit two free throws to put the Blossoms up four with eight seconds left.
Fogarty finished with 13 points, 12 rebounds and three blocks.
“Tom really stepped up and played well,” BP head coach John Bruns said. “It was a good win for us.”
Luke Hueman had 15 points, eight rebounds, and three steals for BP.
