The LeRoy/Ostrander boys basketball team snapped a nine-game losing streak when it beat Schaeffer Academy (0-14 overall, 0-14 SEC) in LeRoy Tuesday.

The Cardinals (4-16 overall, 3-11 SEC) led 44-29 at the half, but they couldn’t quite turn the game into a blowout.

“We had a lot of easy lay-ups, but we couldn’t stop them on defense,” L/O head coach Jason Jude said.
