Continuing their efforts to embed themselves in the community, Austin Bruins players are spending a night out on the town.

The Austin Bruins will hold a meet and greet the community at the Oak Park Mall Tuesday, March 1. The entire Bruins team, along with Bruiser the Bear, will be on hand for autographs and pictures. The team encourages fans to bring items for the players to sign. The Bruins will also hand out magnets, T-shirts and tickets. Bruins cookies and punch will be complimentary.

The signing will take place at the mall’s center stage from 5 to 6 p.m.

According to Bruins’ staff, the team is looking to add to its creative ways to involve the community with its players.

“We just feel like it’s a great way for our boys to have a presence in the community and meet fans, have them (fans) get autographs and meet the team,” said Stephanie Bowe, Bruins account executive.

Fans are welcome to ask questions of the players or the Bruins front office.
