The Hayfield girls basketball team got a preview of it’s first round round opponent in the Section 2AA tournament and the Vikings found out they might have some work to do.

Hayfield fell to Blue Earth (15-7 overall) 54-42 on the road Saturday.

The rematch will mean a little bit more when the two teams will meet again March 1 with their seasons on the line.
