The Blooming Prairie Awesome Blossoms nearly completed a double-digit comeback, but fell short in the waning minutes, falling to Triton 56-45 Thursday night.

BP was down 13 at one point, but managed to cut the lead to just one with three minutes to go before Triton sealed the win by making its freethrows down the stretch.

Michael Thomas led BP with 19 points.
