Arc of Mower County
Come and join Arc for a fun filled evening on March 19 at the Grand Ball Room located at the Holiday Inn.
Come meet the cooks that are entering the contest for a traveling trophy. We will have a silent auction and door prizes.
Cooks are asked to make their favorite dish and bring to serve bite size samples to the audience who will vote for their favorite.
The cook with the most votes will win the travelling trophy. The event runs from 5 to 7:30 p.m. in the evening.
If you would like to participate in our fundraiser by entering, donate a door prize or becoming a sponsor please call 433-8994 ext. 103.
Arc’s 16th Annual Rose Sale
Let someone know that you care and support the work of Arc Mower County by supporting our 16th annual Rose Sale which runs from this Tuesday through April 1. Order forms will be available on our website, www.arcmowercounty.org or you may use the insert in the February 2011 and March 2011 editions of VISIONS. You may also email roses@arcmowercounty.org to order as well. Pick-up and delivery will be on Tuesday, April 12.
All proceeds from Arc’s Rose Sale benefit children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities including Down syndrome, cerebral palsy, autism and epilepsy. Your participation in Arc’s Rose Sale provides critical funding for programs and services.
Any level of support is appreciated. Here are a few suggestions:
Coordinate a pre-sale rose sale. You can pre-sell roses by emailing your co-workers and encouraging them to order. Call Arc with a group rose order and the roses can be delivered to your office.
Ask your neighbors, friends and family to order roses.
Order roses to give to your customers or employees to show how much you appreciate them.
Rose Sale coordinators are needed throughout Austin and the surrounding communities to coordinate rose sales at local churches, businesses, etc.
