MINNEAPOLIS — Three Twin Cities area teens are due in court Friday on murder and robbery charges.

The three teens are accused in the fatal shooting of 58-year-old Stanley Curtis Rogers. His body was found Jan. 21 in a van parked in an alley in south Minneapolis.

Prosecutors say Rogers was shot in the chest during a robbery attempt. Eighteen-year-old Ladell Johnson and 17-year-old Gary Griffin were arrested shortly after the shooting. A third defendant, 16-year-old Lordiss Stewart was indicted Thursday. The Star Tribune says all three are expected to appear in Hennepin County District Court on first-degree murder and first-degree aggravated robbery charges Friday.
