The Austin gymnastics team beat Mankato East 135.25-132.1 on the road Tuesday.

Austin had a good night on the beams as four of the five routines had no falls. Abby Snater won the event with a 9.2.

“Last week we did well on beam and we continued the trend tonight,” Austin head coach Mark Raymond said. “I was very happy with routines tonight although we did give up a few form breaks.”

The Packers took three of the top four spots in vault as Carolyn Hackel led the way with an 8.875.
