The Lyle/Pacelli girls basketball team led throughout in a 59-42 win at LeRoy/Ostrander (2-11 overall, 2-6 SEC) Thursday.

The Athletics (7-4 overall, 7-2 SEC) were led by Nyabang Diang, who poured in 33 points.

L/P led by 15 early, but the Cards cut it to six before the Athletics went back up 32-23 at the half.

“When Nya was getting after it, she was scoring in bunches,” L/P head coach Brad Walter said. “We put pressure on the ball and forced a lot of turnovers.”
