Lois M. (Fate) Ronich, 77, of Grand Meadow formerly of Brownsdale, died Jan. 14.
She was born March 1, 1933, in Austin, to Ernest and Nelda (Reed) Bulson. She attended and graduated from Austin High School in 1951 and was united in marriage to Donald Fate, and they were later divorced. Lois attended Vo-tech in Austin to become an LPN. She worked at the Meadow Manor in Grand Meadow for 30 years. In December 1979, Lois was united in marriage to Frank Ronich. He passed away in 1995. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Brownsdale and attended Bear Creek Lutheran Church for the past 5 years. Lois enjoyed gardening, flowers, reading, needle work, and
watching the birds from her apartment window. She was a member of the nursing home, Red Hats, and she especially enjoyed spending time with her family.
Lois is survived by her 5 children; Elaine (Steve) Iverson of Grand Meadow, Bill (Barb) Fate of Wykoff, Chery (Les) Stier of Grand Meadow, Dale Fate of Austin, and Ron Fate of Forest City, Iowa; 14 grandchildren; numerous step-grandchildren; 13 great-
grandchildren and numerous step-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husbands, infant sister, brother, daughter-in-law and grandson.
Funeral services for Lois M. (Fate) Ronich will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 19, at the First Baptist Church in Brownsdale with Pastor Kraig Elliott officiating. Burial will be in the Grandview Cemetery in Austin. Visitation will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 18, at the Hindt Funeral Home in Grand Meadow and 1 hour prior to the service at the church Wednesday.
