Kristi Renae Jolson, 50 of rural Blooming Prairie, died at her home Jan. 11.

She was born March 2, 1960 to Allan and Arlene (Johnson) Jolson in Blooming Prairie, where she grew up and attended school and graduated from in 1977. After graduating from UW Stout in 1981 with a degree in child development, Kristi made her career as an administrator in childcare. She was a member of Community Lutheran Church in Geneva and enjoyed going to concerts and spending time with family.

Survivors include two brothers, Bruce Jolson of Cedar Rapids, Scott Jolson of Blooming Prairie; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Memorial services will be held at 2 p.m., Sunday, Jan. 16, at Community Lutheran Church of Geneva. Visitation is one hour prior to the service. Interment will be at a later date. Worlein Blooming Prairie Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
