Frederick G. Vogel, 98, of St. Paul, formally of Austin and Kerrville, Texas. Fred died at age 98 after a full, rewarding life. He was a retired Lieutenant Colonel from the U.S. Army, serving in the South Pacific during WWII. He served as an officer in the Infantry. After retiring from practicing law, he and his wife enjoyed a wonderful retirement, traveling internationally in their Airstream. Survived by his wife of 72 years, Mayble; daughters, Donna McCarthy and Jane Vogel, both of St. Paul; 11 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren and seven great-great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by son, Lewis.

A private family service will be held at a later date. Interment at Fort Snelling.
