Amber Dolphin, daughter of Nancy and Larry Dolphin of Austin, announces her engagment to Steve Moechnig, son of Delores and Paul Moechnig of Lake City.

Amber is a 2000 graduate of Austin High School, a 2004 graduate of Luther College, a 2006 graduate of University of Wisconsin -Madison and a 2010 graduate of Northern Illinois University- DeKalb in Violin Performance/Music Management. Amber is a self-employed musician and teacher.

Steve is a 1999 graduate of Lake City High School. He attended Winona State University, graduating in 2003 with a degree in Composite Materials Engineering. He is employed with Trek Bicycles.

A June 4, 2011, wedding is planned in Spring Green, Wisc. The couple will reside in Madison, Wisc.
