Central Lakes tops Riverland men

The Riverland men’s basketball team ran into the top team in their conference and it showed in a 120-74 loss at Central Lakes (19-0 overall, 3-0 MCAC South) Saturday.

Central Lakes shot 52 percent (17-for-32) on threes, while the Blue Devils (11-7 overall, 2-1 MCAC South) shot just 30 percent from the field.

“The game started off with Central Lakes shooting the ball really well and they didn’t stop shooting well all game,” RCC head coach Dan Swift said. “They are a very good and physical team that didn’t quit for 40 minutes.”
