A winter storm is just the start of a long week of winter weather.

The storm already wreaked havoc on area roads early Monday, and at least two rollovers were reported on county roads before 7 a.m.

A winter weather advisory is effect until 6 p.m. Monday. About 2 to 4 inches of snow is expected, but wind is also likely to impair driving. South winds of 15 to 25 mph will cause drifting and limited visibilty in spots. Drifting already slowed traffic on many rural roads Monday morning.

The cold temperatures should push out of the area by Saturday, as a high of 17 is expected.
