The Lyle/Pacelli boys basketball team hung on to beat Hope Lutheran (2-6 overall, 2-6 SEC) 56-51 on the road Friday.

The Athletics (2-8 overall, 2-3 SEC) were led by Skylar Meyer, who scored 18 points and Max Brennan added eight points and four rebounds.

“It was an ugly game all the way, but we’ll take the win,” L/P head coach Casey Anderson said. “We won a close game that we needed to get.”
