$10K reward offered in NE Minn. double homicide

CARLTON, Minn. — Authorities are offering a $10,000 reward for information leading to an arrest in a double homicide in northeastern Minnesota.
Carlton County Sheriff Kelly Lake on Tuesday identified the victims as 53-year-old Kim Schmitz and her longtime boyfriend, Thomas Holm, also 53.
Their bodies were found Sunday in the couple’s home just outside Cromwell. Holm’s missing pickup truck was found Saturday night near Saginaw. Authorities say the pickup had been burned.
Autopsies are being conducted by the Ramsey County medical examiner’s office. The cause of death will be released after the autopsies are complete.
