The Austin boys hockey team lost to Albert Lea 9-0 on the road Tuesday.

The Tigers (6-1 overall, 3-1 Big Nine) put up six goals in the first period, but Austin (1-5 overall, 1-3 Big Nine) held them to three goals the rest of the way.

Albert Lea tallied 42 shots on goal and Eric Carlson scored four goals, while the Packers attempted 18 shots.
