Mark Dean Langstaff

Mark Dean Langstaff, 48, of Fort Dodge, passed away at his home on Tuesday, Dec. 14, 2010.

Mark was born on Sept. 24, 1962, in Osage, Iowa to Paul and Linda (Waller) Langstaff. Mark was united in marriage to Catherine Lind on Oct. 21, 1988, in Las Vegas, Nev.

He enjoyed Mustang cars, NASCAR, tennis, bicycling, farming with his brother-in-law and spending time with his family. He will be forever remembered for his witty sense of humor and devotion to his family.

He is survived by his wife: Cassie; four children: Mariel (Steve) Mandelko, Omaha, Neb.; Amanda (David) LaGue, Clear Lake, Iowa; Tawni Langstaff and Cassie Mae Langstaff both of Fort Dodge, Iowa; his father, Paul (Cindy) Langstaf, Lansing, and his mother Linda Langstaff, Austin; two brothers: Mike (Ann) Langstaff and Matthew Langstaff; one granddaughter: Magnolia Ray Mandelko; and many nieces, nephews, and friends.

A Celebration of Life service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 18, 2010, at Trinity United Methodist in Fort Dodge.

Visitation will be held at Trinity United Methodist on Friday, Dec. 17, 2010, from 7 to 9 p.m. Iowa Cremation is assisting the family.
