Linda Kay Schoenbauer, 55, of McGregor, passed away Dec. 24, 2010, at Our Lady of Good Counsel Hospice, St. Paul, after a battle with cancer.

Linda was born on Sept. 10, 1955, to Harold and Esther (Johnson) Torgersen.

Linda worked at Cyuna Medical Center – Hallet Cottages Memory Care as an LPN. Linda also sold arts and crafts.

Linda enjoyed arts and crafts and spending time with her grandchildren.

She is survived by her mother, Esther Torgersen (Johnson) of Woodbury; sister, Nancy (Allen) Bailey of Colorado Springs, Colo.; brother, Wayne (Linda) Torgersen of Stewartville; sister, Karen (Richard) Wachal of Woodbury; daughter, Peggy (David) Arola of Columbus and grandchildren, Natalie and Kristin Arola of Columbus.

Linda was preceded in death by her father, Harold Torgersen and brother, David Torgersen.

Funeral services will take place at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, Dec. 30, 2010, at St. Joseph Catholic Church 171 Elm St., Lino Lakes with Father Mark Underdahl officiating. Visitation will take place at 10 a.m. at the church prior to the service. Linda’s body has been donated to the U of M.
