The Austin boys swimming and diving team fell to Owatonna 93-84 in its season opener on the road Thursday.

Mike Thorsheim took first in the 200-yard individual medley, Caleb Bentley took first in diving, and freshman Ian Christopherson took first in the 500-freestyle.

The 500-yard freestyle relay team of Nick Brehmer, Christopherson, Jordan Bentley, and Thorsheim finished first.
