The Blooming Prairie girls basketball team started slow and couldn’t come back in an 83-55 loss at Byron (7-2 overall) Thursday.

The Bears jumped out to a 20-point lead early and BP (3-4 overall) took awhile to respond.

“After the first eight minutes, we settled down and hung in there,” BP head coach John Worke said. “They’re a quick strong team and they can penetrate and hit from the outside.”
