The Riverland volleyball team went 2-2 at the Rochester Invite Saturday.

The Blue Devils (3-9 overall) lost its first two matches to Viterbo JV 23-25, 25-17, 25-21, 25-13 and Madison Area Technical College 25-23, 25-8, 25-17.

RCC beat Minnesota West 25-13, 22-25, 15-13 and topped Fergus Falls 26-24, 25-14.

“We went into the tournament hoping to play well and cut down some of the errors that have been haunting our matches,” RCC head coach Helen Jahr said. “These wins against teams in our conference, gives us the confidence we need going in to the upcoming game against Rochester on Wednesday.”
