Mildred M. Bellrichard, 90, of Austin, died Sunday, Sept. 19, 2010, at St. Mark’s Lutheran Home.

Mildred was born Dec. 8, 1919, in Austin to Benjamin and Lottie (Kos) Bednar. She attended Austin High School. On Dec. 1, 1945, Mildred was united in marriage to Robert Bellrichard in Austin. She was a homemaker. Mildred was a member of Westminster Presbyterian Church and the Western Bohemian Fraternal Association. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. Mildred was a gardener and especially enjoyed growing her African violets. She also enjoyed baking.

Survivors include three children, Diane (Dick) Suess, Northfield; Gregg (Kathie) Bellrichard, San Antonio, Texas; Julie (Randy) Tapp, Austin; nine grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; two brothers: Ben (Arlene) Bednar, Austin; Floyd Bednar, Austin; a sister, Helen Neus, Austin; many nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Robert in 1980; son, Thomas in 1993; brother, Donald in 1982; granddaughter, Sara Bellrichard in 1982.

Funeral services will be held 11a.m. on Thursday, Sept. 23, 2010, at Westminster Presbyterian Church with Rev. Dr. Andrew Lindahl officiating. Friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m. on Wednesday at Mayer Funeral Home and also one hour before the service at the church on Thursday. Interment will be in Grandview Cemetery.

The honorary casket bearers will be Stacy Bronson, Amy Nelson, Nicole Schoettler, Megan Corlew, Tina Defries. The casket bearers will be Robert Bellrichard, Joe Tapp, Scott Suess, Tim Suess, David Neus, Jim Neus.
