Bryan and Rosie Toney, of Duluth, will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with an open house from 2 to 5 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 28, at First United Methodist Church in Austin. No gifts please, just hugs and smiles.

Bryan Toney and Rosella Schow were married Aug. 28, 1960, in the Hillsdale Methodist Church near Malvern, Iowa.
The couple lived in Austin from 1967 to 1987.
Their children are Sue (Earl) Pike, Cheryl Toney (Russ Morgan), Karen (Ted) Hilgendorf and Scott Toney (Natalie Orobello). They have nine grandchildren.
Bryan retired from Lake Superior College and Rosie retired from Anderson Furniture
