Casey Toops delivered the go-ahead hit and picked up a save on the mound as the Blue Sox edged Chaska 3-2 in an amateur baseball game on the road Wednesday.

Austin (16-7 overall) took a 3-2 lead in the top of the ninth when Toops drove home Steve Serratore with a one-out single up the middle.

Toops allowed a hit and a walk to put runners on first and second with one out in the bottom of the ninth but he retired the last two Cubs hitters in order to get out of the jam.
