A 52-year-old Austin man who had sexual relations with a young girl was sentenced to 12-and-a-half years in prison Friday.

William Conner will also be subject to a 10-year conditional release period after he leaves prison, meaning another violation could quickly land him back in jail.

According to a criminal complaint, inappropriate touching with the young girl started in 2002 and intercourse began in June of 2009.

The most recent incident occurred in October, the complaint states.
