Hormel CEO Jeffrey Ettinger was named Thursday to the board of directors for The Toro Co., a Bloomington-based company that supplies turf, landscape equipment and precision irrigation systems throughout the globe.

In addition to the Toro board, Ettinger also sits on the board of directors for the Austin Medical Center, the Hormel Foundation, the Minnesota Business Partnership, the American Meat Institute and the Grocery Manufacturers of America.

Ettinger has served as the Hormel CEO since 2006.
