Adam Johnson and Katy Tijan of Hopkins, Minn., announce their engagement. Katy is the daughter of Sam and Connie Tijan of Eagle River, Wis.

Adam is the son of Paul and Bonnie Johnson of Austin.

Katy graduated from Eagle River High School in 2001. She is currently employed by General Mills in Golden Valley, Minn.

Adam graduated from Austin High School in 1998. He is currently employed with Quality Stainless, Inc., in Minneapolis.

The couple will be married July 24 at 4: p.m. in Eagle River, Wis.
