Three area grads play in Minnesota football All-Star game

Three area graduates played for the Outstate team in the Minnesota High School All-Star football game in St. Cloud Saturday.
The Metro team won 28-0 in a game that was called with just under eight minutes to go in the fourth quarter due to lightning.
Austin grad Jerrad Ryks led the Outstate team with 18 yards on five carries.
Grand Meadow grad Michael Gehling played safety for the Outstate and Southland grad David Shotanus played offensive line.
Blooming Prairie head coach Chad Gimbel was an assistant coach for the Outstate team.
