The Southland baseball team topped Randolph 3-2 to win the Subsection 1A West Division baseball tournament Saturday in Rochester.

Trevor Emanuel knocked in the go-ahead run with an RBI single with two outs in the bottom of the sixth.

Mitch Heimer also had a key RBI single for the Rebels (19-4 overall) and Chris May pitched a three-hitter in seven innings of work.

Southland will play in the opening round of the Section 1A baseball tournament at Hudson Field in Rochester after the completion of the elimination game, which is two innings in and starts at 2:30 p.m. in Hudson Field Monday.

The Rebels will take on Wabasha/Kellogg (19-3 overall) at approximately 4:30 p.m.
