Minnesota Wild Tour stops in Austin Tuesday

The Minnesota Wild are coming to Austin.
Wild players Andrew Ebbett and Clayton Stoner and former player Wes Walz will be at Wells Fargo at 501 North Main St. Tuesday from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. for an autograph signing session.
Ebbett is a center who played in 61 games for the Wild last season and he scored nine goals and had six assists. Stoner is a defenseman who played in eight games for the Wild last season, netting two points.
Walz played in the NHL for 11 seasons and had 260 career points.
Also in attendance will be Bob Kurtz, the Wild play-by-play announcer, Tom Reid, a former North Star player who played in the NHL for 11 years and is Kurtz’s broadcast partner,
The tour will hit a total 18 cities and four states.
Not only do fans in all of the cities get the chance to meet Wild players and obtain autographs, they also get the chance to help their local youth hockey organizations, and support our troops.
Wild partners Coca-Cola and Schweigert will be donating products for each city’s youth hockey association to sell at the stops, with all proceeds benefiting local youth hockey.
The Wild and Wells Fargo are also supporting Cell Phones for Soldiers on the Road Tour. Fans will receive a free puck or mug when donating a used cell phone at one of the Road Tour stops. Cell Phones for Soldiers will recycle the used cell phone and send a 60 minute phone card to a soldier overseas for each phone donated. Minnesota Army National Guard and Kemps will also be prominent at the stops on the 2010 Wells Fargo Minnesota Wild Road Tour.
