Carol O’Brien

Carol A. (Arens) O’Brien, 65, resident of Fox Point, Wis., joined God and her beloved son Scott in eternal peace on May 29, 2010.
Carol was passionate about music; she began her career as a music teacher and spent many years as conductor of the Whitefish Bay Community Band. She also enjoyed photography, with many of her photos appearing in different galleries throughout the city.
Her spirit will always live on within her art, music and loved ones.
She was a loving mother of Christie (Dan) Polk of Thiensville, Wis.; proud grandmother of Emily; dear sister of Jeanne Dolan, Joanne (Bill) Fuller, Richard (Barb) Arens and Terry Arens. She leaves behind many dear friends, nieces, nephews and other family members to cherish her memory.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Arthur and Jean (Wolf) Arens, and her brother, Artie Arens.
The family will welcome friends at the funeral home on Friday, June 4, beginning at 4 p.m. until time of memorial services at 7 p.m.
