The Austin girls golf team placed 11th out of 12 teams with a team score of 438 at the Section 1AAA meet Bellwood Oaks Golf Course in Hastings Tuesday.

Austin senior Ingrid Baudler moved on to Thursday’s round by finishing in the top-12 individuals who didn’t have a team advancing.

Baudler shot a 97, depite having to take a three-hour break due to weather when she still had six holes left.

“She really played well and she shot well after the delay,” Austin head coach Erik LaRock said.

The rest of the Packers saw their season end on Tuesday.

“It was a fun season and hopefully we’ll be a little more competitive next year,” LaRock said.
