Author visits Austin

Spruce Up Austin partnered with author Ann Linnea, orginally of Austin, to organize a book signing and reception at the Austin Public Library that more than 70 people attended.
“Keepers of the Trees” is a full-color book about America’s threatened forests and the people who dedicate their lives to exploring, protecting and “rewilding” them.
Washington-based writer and educator Linnea is the oldest of four daughters of Frank and Astrid Brown. She attended K-12 schools in Austin, graduating as valedictorian from Austin High School.
Linnea’s book sales at Monday’s signing event at the library benefitted Spruce Up Austin.
Spruce Up Austin is a community betterment organization committed to environmental enhancements on public property.
