The Lyle/Pacelli baseball team was held to just two hits in a 12-0 five inning loss to Glenville/Emmons in Marcusen Park Monday.

The Wolverines (6-4 overall, 2-1 SEC) scored eight runs after there were two outs in the fourth inning to put the game away.

“They were ready to hit and we weren’t, there’s no excuse for that,” L/P head coach Reid Olson said. “We kind of went through the motions and we’re better than that.”

The Athletics (1-3 overall, 1-1 SEC) got singles from Mike Lonergan and Jordan White for their only hits.
