The Southland baseball team had its 10-game winning streak come to an end when it fell to Wabasha/Kellogg 8-3 on the road Thursday.
W/K (15-3 overall) led 4-1 after five innings, and it put up four runs in the bottom of the sixth to put it away.
The Rebels (13-4 overall) committed three errors in the loss.
“We didn’t play bad, but we had a few mistakes and missed the cut-off man a couple of times,” Southland head coach Scott Retterath said. “You can’t do that against good teams.”
