The Southland baseball team won its ninth straight game when it topped Plainview/Elgin/Millville (8-5 overall) 7-1 on the road Monday.

Alan May hit his third home run of the season in the win for Southland (12-3 overall) and pitcher Mitch Nagele allowed just one hit and struck out seven.
