Georgia Leota Barnes, 48, of Orcas Island, Wash. died April 24, 2010.
Georgia was born Sept. 29, 1961 in St. Paul, Minn.
Georgia served in the Air Force after graduation. She attended Hamline University and Seattle University in Washington. She was a very talented artist. She had worked as a paralegal for Microsoft for many years.
Georgia shall remain in the hearts of her family and friends forever.
She is survived by special friend, Bruce Willette of Orcas Island, Wash.; her mother, Lois Kingsbury (Bill) of St. Paul, Minn.; father, Gordon Barnes, Sr. of Vernon Center, Minn.; brothers, Gordon Barnes, Jr. (Melody) of Austin and Jack Barnes of Vernon Center, Minn.; sisters, Nancy of St. Paul, Minn., Barbie (Ray) Barnes-Dickerson of St. Paul, Minn., Heidi (James) Bungert of Inver Grove Heights, Minn., Rebecca Barnes of Houston, Texas; and many nieces, nephews and aunts and uncles.
A private memorial will be held by family on May 14, 2010.
